Silk Road Chronicles: Mixed Media Stamp, Stencil & Tutorial kit

Workshop in a box!

I want you to imagine opening your journal and stepping into another time, another place — where the winding roads of Europe meet the ancient trade routes of Asia. The Silk Road was more than a path for goods; it was a passage of stories, symbols, and ideas. I’ve gathered these inspirations into something i’ve been dreaming of sharing with you…

The Silk Road Chronicles Kits.

Each kit includes

- 7-8 richly detailed foam stamps — marks that feel as if they’ve traveled through centuries

- 2 layered stencils — patterns that invite depth and dimension

- A 32-page guided narrative tutorial filled with imagery, history, creative prompts, and tutorials.

Designed to spark your creativity and carry you along a narrative journey.

At the heart of the Silk Road Chronicles is the story of an anthropologist traveling along the Silk Road.
She isn’t traveling alone — she has a companion, an owl named Matus, who often acts as a wise, observing presence
in the storytelling. The project blends travel, history, and personal mythology with an artistic lens, weaving in themes of
exploration, spirituality, and symbolism.

It’s both a creative narrative and a framework for your art practice — inspiring motifs, imagery,
and archetypes that unfold into collage, book arts, & printmaking.

Sacred Pause Journey…

The Sacred Pause is the intentional act of stopping before you react, decide, or move forward. In this pause, you create a moment of spaciousness — a breath, a reset — that shifts you out of autopilot and into awareness. Instead of being pulled by habit or impulse, you return to presence.

This practice is deeply connected to nervous system regulation. Through slowing down, the body finds its way out of fight-or-flight patterns and into a calmer, more grounded state. The pause becomes a doorway into balance — where breath, stillness, and gentle attention reset the rhythm of both body and mind.

Creative, spiritual, and Zen practices offer powerful ways to deepen the Sacred Pause. Whether it’s mindful breathing, meditation, or a walk in nature, these moments cultivate resilience and clarity. For many, the art journal becomes an outlet for this reflection — a private space where thoughts, images, and emotions can be released and transformed into meaning.

Even a few seconds of pausing can open a path toward clarity, compassion, and alignment. It is not about doing nothing — it is about choosing the most essential thing: coming back to yourself.

Robynisms - Substack

As an artist and energy worker, I've developed my own approaches to self-regulation and inner harmony. I'm not here as an expert telling you what to do, I'm simply sharing what works for me. My background in cultural anthropology has given me a unique lens through which I view our collective experiences, and my art is how I process and express these insights.

I invite you to join me as I share these Robynisms. Take what resonates with you and leave the rest. In a world that often feels overwhelming, I've found creating and contemplating these pieces brings me peace, perhaps they'll offer you a moment of reflection too. This is my journey, and I'm happy to have you along for the ride.

WELCOME TO MY TRIBE!

We embrace the ordinary, rejected and often less than perfect bits of everyday life that are left on the fringes to be discarded. We strive to find the beauty in the outcast and turn it into an expression of self that can only best be conveyed through mixed media visual arts. Our way of life is simple and economical. We love repurposing found objects, thrifting for unique finds and adding to them a story of our own. We all have a story to tell and by tapping into the unlimited resource of self our visual vocabulary is born and our stories can be shared.
